Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh Wedding in Italy

Let’s take a sneak peek into Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s beautiful Italian destination wedding in Villa del Balbianello, the posh villa overlooking Lake Como which is the third largest lake in the world.

Guests began arriving early in the morning and had gathered on the villa’s patio for the duo’s traditional Konkani wedding ceremony. A group of 30- 40 guests stood around the railings of the patio, shielding the couple who were seated on the floor as the priest chanted the holy mantras. Security was extraordinarily tight as small powerboats manned by security guards sailed around the smaller boat with journalists on-  board.

The main dock of the villa, as well as the patio itself, was washed hundreds of white roses as the sun shone bright during the wedding. The couple had announced their wedding on October 21 after dating each other for six years. Bollywood’s Bajirao and Mastani have been dating since Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ramleela that was released in 2013. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony at Lake Como in Italy on November 13 and 14 of 2018. The wedding took place at the picturesque Villa Del Belbianello with around 30-40 guests in attendance. The wedding was preceded by a romantic engagement ceremony on November 12.

A South Indian wedding has been planned for November 14 2018, complete with Kannadiga rituals. The next day will see the couple solemnise their relationship as per the customs of a North Indian wedding (Anand Karaj).” Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone exchanged vows and became a married couple on 14 November 2018 with a traditional Konkani ceremony in Italy.

According to the reports, the sangeet and mehendi ceremonies were held at different venues with Ranveer’s ceremony at the decked up CastaDiva Resort and Deepika’s function at Villa d’Este, situated five kilometers away. Singers Harshdeep Kaur and Shubha Mudgal sang mehendi and thumri songs respectively during the mehendi ceremony. The lavish Italian wedding will be followed by a Bengaluru reception on November 21, 2018 and Mumbai reception on November 28, 2018.
